Our SWAT Pepper Spray instant access attachment is 3D printed with Biodegradable Plastic from renewable sources. Its not an engineering material, but with appropriate use, correct pepper spray fitment and used/stored in temperature below 50 degrees centigrade it is designed to last for years as a standby personal self defence device.
For practical purposes 60ml Direct Stream pepper sprays are typically recommended (its large enough to hold in a fist with capacity for multiple attackers and not so likely to affect you as a mist or fog)

CYCLE ATTACHMENT – At this time, Silicone tape under under the cable ties is recommended to help prevent dust ingression and abrasion (it’s waterproof and doesn’t stick to the frame, also good quality NITO electrical tape would do a similar job but that will stick to the frame .

Attaching and fitting the Pepper Spray canister
When worn the Top should be pointing up
Top is marked TOP and the neck must fit in the grove under Nozzle Head.
(any other position will damage the product and negate the warranty as it must not be under permanent stress)
The wrist strap is easy to see when its placed correctly and can be inserted whenever you prefer.
If a waist strap is used Its best to place the Canister in the attachment before wearing.
Using the Pepper Spray

Get yourself prepped, gripping the spray firmly with a fist and place your thumb on the trigger ready to spray (not your index finger) .
Stay out of reach but be careful about stepping backwards.
Show that you clearly intend to defend yourself!
Be ready to Push the attacker away with your raised free hand if necessary while spraying. Keep the spray back and out of reach of the attacker.
Aim the Pepper Spray at the Face and then spray repeatedly in a “S” shape in the area in front of you creating a tunnel between you and your attacker.
Step aside after spraying. If he moves forward he won’t be able to see you and will be temporarily incapacitated leaving you ample time to get away. Some drug and alcohol cases are less affected so don’t waste any time leaving the area).
Make as much noise as you can (our WISL’s for instance can be heard over 2 kilometers away!).
